Michael Gavin

Mike Gavin currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Isothermal Community College, a position held since August 2006. In this role, Mike directs the college's marketing and communications functions, collaborates with the president on various operational matters, and ensures effective outreach through social media and other marketing channels. Prior to this, Mike was the Managing Editor at The Daily Courier from August 2000 to August 2006 and worked as the Community Income Manager for the American Cancer Society from January 1997 to August 2000. Mike began a career in the early 1990s as a Group Manager and Trust Administrator at The Palmer Agency, focusing on employee benefit plans. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Emory University between 1984 and 1988.
