Michael Lyda

Michael Lyda currently serves as a Professor and Advisor at Isothermal Community College, where responsibilities include leading instruction and advising in the Building Construction Technology program with an emphasis on various construction disciplines. Previous experience includes working as a Project Engineer at DPR Construction and as an Engineer, Drafter, and Inspector at All American Homes of NC. Michael Lyda holds an Education Specialist degree in Adult Education from Appalachian State University, a Master's in Construction Management from Western Carolina University, a Diploma in Renewable Energy from North Carolina State University, and multiple Associate degrees from Isothermal Community College and Western Carolina University in fields related to building construction, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, mechanical engineering, and mechanical drafting.
