Shannon Jones

Shannon Jones, DNP, PMHNP-BC, RN, currently serves as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Rutherford Mental Wellness, PLLC, and has been a Fulltime Faculty member at Isothermal Community College since October 2019. Shannon's extensive experience includes roles as RN-Inpatient Psychiatry, Director of Education, and RN-Post-Surgical at Rutherford Regional Health Systems. Prior to that, Shannon worked as an RN in Labor & Delivery at The McDowell Hospital, Inc. Educationally, Shannon holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, a Master's degree in Nursing Education, and a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, all from Gardner-Webb University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Nursing Practice from Isothermal Community College.
