Ilona Gaweda

Ilona comes to Isovalent with over 15 years of engineering experience in software development and leadership. In her current role, she is responsible to run and scale the engineering organization at Isovalent. Ilona spent her first 12 years in Google, working on Dremel, BigQuery, Adwords, and Google Cloud, leading a group focused on Security and Fraud Detection, protecting Google Accounts. Starting from hardcore software development she gradually transitioned to technical leadership, product, and engineering management. Outside of Computer Science, Ilona loves outdoor activities, is a vivid rock and ice climber, and an avid skier, currently pursuing an IFMGA Mountain Guide certification.
