Alena Nicolai Gwerder has extensive work experience in finance and risk management. Alena is currently the Group CFO at ISP Group since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Member of the Board of Directors at Klarpay AG starting from July 2021. Alena also held various roles at SEBA Bank AG, including CFO from October 2021 to May 2023, Head Finance from January 2021 to September 2021, and Head of Risk from February 2019 to December 2020. Before joining SEBA Bank AG, they served as a Senior Manager at PwC Switzerland in the FS Risk & Regulatory Services division from July 2016 to January 2019. Alena also held positions such as Head of Risk Management at Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Schweiz) AG from July 2013 to June 2016 and Manager of Audit FSI at Deloitte Switzerland from May 2007 to June 2013.
Alena Nicolai Gwerder has a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Financial Regulation from the University of Berne and the University of Geneva, obtained in 2017. Alena also holds a Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer (Swiss CPA) from the Swiss Audit Academy, completed between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Alena earned a Master of Arts UZH in Business Administration (lic.oec.publ.) from the University of Zurich, which they completed from 2002 to 2007.
