Dannie "Mon" Smart

Systems Engineer/CyberSecurity at ISPA Technology

Dannie "Mon" Smart has extensive experience in the technology and communications fields. Starting in 2004, they served in the United States Air Force as an Information Systems Security Officer, Data Links Supervisor, Project Manager, Network Administrator, and Information Technology Infrastructure Technician. In 2014, they moved to the White House Communications Agency as a Communications Supervisor, where they oversaw six joint service members. In 2018, they joined ISPA Technology as a Systems Engineer/CyberSecurity, where they directly support Air Force Forward Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (FPED) weapon system. Dannie "Mon" performs architectural, infrastructure, and enhancement requirements, and tests, prepares, and integrates developments, modifications, and emerging capabilities into the weapon system.

Dannie "Mon" Smart has a diverse educational background. Dannie "Mon" obtained an Associate's degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force in 2010 and an Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from the same institution in 2010. Dannie "Mon" then earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems Security: Enterprise Security from American Military University in 2013. Dannie "Mon" is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they are expected to obtain in 2022. Dannie "Mon" also holds a Security+ ce certification from CompTIA.
