Watcharawut Masawat

Watcharawut Masawat is a Spaceflight Operations Engineer at ispace, inc. since August 2021, responsible for mission operations and the maintenance of Mission Control Systems. Prior experience includes an Engineering Internship focused on tools development and data management at the same company. As a Student Researcher at the Space Robotics Laboratory since June 2020, Watcharawut has contributed to research on multi-rover fleet systems and reinforcement learning. In addition, involvement with the University Innovation Fellows at Tohoku University began in September 2021, following a role as an Administrative Assistant at Tohoku University from October 2020 to October 2021, where responsibilities included tutoring first-year and prospective students. Watcharawut holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at Tohoku University.
