Franco Bruni

Franco Bruni serves as an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Economics at Bocconi University and is the President of the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), where Bruni has held the Vice President position from 2006 to 2024. Bruni is also a member of the Board of Directors at Banca Sella Holding. Involved with the European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee since 1999, Bruni previously served as Vice President and President of SUERF between 1994 and 2000 and held various independent board member roles at notable companies such as Saipem, Unicredit Banca Mobiliare, Pirelli, and Mediaset. Bruni has contributed to academia as a visiting Professor or Researcher at institutions including NYU and UNSW Sydney. Bruni holds a Master of Science in Economics from Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
