Sonali Desai is an accomplished Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, with a focus on safety, quality, informatics, and leadership as the Program Director for the Safety Quality Informatics Leadership Course. Since October 2012, Sonali has served in various leadership roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital, including Associate Chief Quality Officer and Director of Ambulatory Patient Safety. In addition, Sonali holds the position of Deputy Editor for the International Journal for Quality in Healthcare with ISQua since October 2020. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from Brown Medical School, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Health & Society from Brown University.
