Amir Eshel has a strong background in the defense industry. Amir currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing for East Asia at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries. Prior to this, they worked as a freelancer in the defense industry, serving as an adviser from November 2017 to January 2022. Before their freelance work, Eshel had an extensive career with the IDF - Israel Defense Forces. Amir held various roles within the organization, including Colonel and IDF Defense Attache to China and Mongolia. Amir also served as the Head of Operations for the Home Front Command, Head of Doctrine and Weapons Development for the Armor Corps, and Commander of an Operational Armor Brigade. Additionally, they were the Commander of the IDF Brigade HQ Training Center and played a key role in training and preparing for war and operations. Throughout their career, Eshel gained experience in coordinating military operations, developing military doctrine, and leading large organizations.
Amir Eshel completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1993 to 1996. Later on, they pursued a Master's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies at both the University of Haifa and the IDF - National Defense College, which they completed in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
