Begüm Akpınar Veisoğlu

Begüm Akpınar Veisoğlu is a procurement professional with comprehensive experience in the sourcing and management of packaging materials and finished goods. Currently serving as a Tactical Buyer for ICL Group since May 2023, Begüm supports the implementation of sourcing strategies and manages supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability. Previous roles include Senior Procurement Specialist at FLORMAR, where procurement strategies were developed and managed, and Purchasing Specialist at Farmatek İlaç, responsible for the procurement of excipients and packaging materials. Begüm began a career in quality control at Bilim İlaç, evaluating finished products for compliance with specifications and GMP requirements, and had an early role as a trainee at Novartis. Begüm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Istanbul University.
