Nili Shalev

Nili Shalev serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Israel Export Institute since July 2022. Prior to this role, Nili was the VP of the International Division at the Israel Innovation Authority from March 2021 to July 2022 and the Managing Director at ISERD from September 2016 to July 2022, where Nili oversaw Israel's participation in the European Framework Program Horizon2020, facilitating R&D grants totaling over 870 million Euros. Nili's experience also includes serving as the Economic Minister to North America at the Ministry of Industry Trade and Labor, where Nili advanced economic ties with the Northeast USA, and as the Director of the International Projects and Financing Department, where Nili managed financial support programs for Israeli companies. Previous roles include Marketing Director at Miya, Israel Trade Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand, and Manager of the Seed Fund within the Office of the Chief Scientist. Nili holds an MBA and an MA in Communications, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, all from The Hebrew University.
