Eli Herskowitz has a diverse work experience in various government organizations in Israel. Eli most recently worked as the Ministry of Communications Spokesperson and Head of Media. Prior to that, they served as a Government Relations and Policy Advisor at the British Embassy Israel. Eli also has experience working in the Knesset as a Spokesperson for former Cabinet Secretary MK Zvi Hauser, where they managed media platforms and addressed political and media crises. Eli has also worked as a Spokesperson for former Ambassador and Deputy Minister Dr. Michael Oren in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, where they dealt with local and international media, participated in official state meetings, and acted as a senior advisor. Earlier in their career, Eli worked in the Ministry of Transportation as an Assistant to the Minister of Transport & Intelligence, where they wrote speeches, assisted with public events, and handled governmental work.

Eli Herskowitz obtained a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Bar-Ilan University, which they pursued from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at Ariel University between 2013 and 2016.

Its responsibilities include: formulating telecommunications regulation and policy, developing telecommunications infrastructures, supervising Bezeq and other telecommunications service providers, supervising the Postal Authority, setting and auditing postal and communications tariffs, managing the electromagnetic spectrum’ regulating and supervising cable television services and tariffs, and approving usage of telecommunications equipment in Israel.
