Aviv Barzilay is a Senior Associate at Pitango since August 2021, previously holding the position of Associate. Furthermore, Aviv serves on the Executive Committee of the Young Venture Capital Forum from February 2023. Prior experience includes Head of Strategy at Herzog Strategic from September 2019 to August 2021, and a Teaching Assistant role at Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management from February 2018 to April 2020, focusing on the impact of disruptive technologies in an MBA program. Aviv also worked as a Technology & Regulation Analyst at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, advising on compliance and regulatory issues from February 2018 to January 2020, and was an Analyst at ASERO Worldwide from June 2016 to January 2018, providing security risk advice. Additional roles include CFO of the IDC Entrepreneurship Club and Treasurer of the Student Union at IDC Herzliya. Academic credentials include two LLM degrees from Tel Aviv University and the University of California, Berkeley, and an LL.B. and Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Reichman University.

The Israel VC Forum serves the professional needs of the Israeli venture capital community. It is composed of analysts, associates, principals, partners and other professionals from each of the venture capital firms operating in Israel. Our goal is to strengthen and foster the development of skilled VC investment professionals in Israel by enhancing their technical knowledge, industry perspective, and network of connections.
