Elan Carr is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Israeli-American Council. Previously, Carr served as the United States Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism at the U.S. Department of State. Elan also worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for over a decade, prosecuting violent felony crimes. Carr has a background in military service as a Captain in the Army at USCENTCOM, where Elan served as an Anti-Terrorism Team Leader and Special Prosecutor. Additionally, Elan ran as a Congressional Candidate in California's 33rd Congressional District. Carr holds a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
