Josh Birnbaum

Josh Birnbaum is an experienced infantry soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, having served on active duty from April 2016 to 2018 and currently in the reserves. This role has included various responsibilities such as squadron commander and combat medic. In addition, Josh Birnbaum worked as a laboratory technician at the Weizmann Institute of Science, specializing in protein extraction and purification from November 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a position as a research assistant and student intern at Bar-Ilan University, focusing on the protein dynamics of the E2F protein family. Josh Birnbaum is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Bar-Ilan University.
