Amala Devi

Amala Devi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Amala is currently with ISS-Corporate as an Associate Vice President (Sustainability Solutions Product Manager). Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at Sustainalytics. Amala also has experience at the World Resources Institute, where they held the positions of Senior Project Associate and Project Associate. Before that, they were a Project Officer at the Indo-German Centre for Sustainability, IIT Madras. Amala started their career as an Energy Economics Intern at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and also worked as a Business Analyst at SPI Cinemas Private Limited.

Amala Devi completed their education at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras from 2009 to 2014, earning a Five Year Integrated Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics. In 2020-2021, they pursued a Green Economy Bridging Program at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University, focusing on Sustainability Management and Enterprise Process Excellence. Additionally, they obtained certifications in FSA Credential Level 1 from the IFRS Foundation in 2023, Sustainability and Climate Risk from the GARP SCR Program in 2022, and Getting Started in Responsible Investment from Principles for Responsible Investment in 2021.
