Ioana Bejan

Ioana Bejan is an experienced professional in sustainable finance and economic research, currently serving as Associate VP of Sustainable Finance Research at ISS-Corporate since January 2024. Prior roles include Consultant for Financial Sector Development at the Afghan Credit Guarantee Foundation, Sustainable Finance Manager at Deloitte, and various leadership positions at the Afghan Credit Guarantee Foundation and LANDT. Ioana has a strong background in sustainable energy finance, evidenced by significant contributions during tenure at GreenMax Capital Advisors and research projects with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin, complemented by international study experiences.
