Sandra Herrera

Sandra Herrera has an extensive work experience spanning over 17 years. Sandra most recently served as the Vice President of ESG Content and Data Analytics at ISS Corporate Solutions (ICS) starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Universidad del Rosario from July 2020 to April 2023. In 2022, Sandra volunteered as a Research Consultant at Ashoka from September to December. Sandra also worked at Laureate Education, Inc. for 13 years, holding various positions including Social Impact Manager from June 2019 to July 2020 and Corporate Responsibility Director for Mexico from June 2007 to June 2019. Before joining Laureate Education, Inc., Sandra worked as a Deputy Director of Public Affairs at Secretaría de Gobernación from July 2006 to January 2007.

Sandra Herrera holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. Sandra also has an MSc in Applied Development Studies from the University of Lincoln and a degree in Economics from Universidad del Rosario. In addition to their formal education, Sandra has obtained various certifications, such as the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera and the Promotor de sueños certification from Universidad del Rosario. Sandra has also completed courses in project management, diversity and inclusion, HTML, nonprofit management, sustainability strategies, and ethical conflict resolution.
