Katherin Awad

Katherin Awad has over 20 years of experience in the medical and technology fields. Katherin began their career in 1999 as an Independent Consultant for Unisys as an Analyst Programmer. In 2000, they worked as an Independent Consultant for Start Corporation as an ASP Developer and for UBS Warburg as a Java Developer. Katherin then worked for the Roads and Traffic Authority as a Senior J2EE Developer in 2001. In 2005, they worked as an Independent Consultant for P&O Ports as a Lead Web Developer. From 2006 to 2008, they worked for Boston Scientific as a Senior International Product Manager. In 2008, they worked for Wright Medical Technology as a Marketing Director EMEA. From 2009 to 2015, they worked for STENTYS in various roles, including International Marketing Manager, Medical Marketing Manager, and Head of Marketing. Since 2016, they have been working for iSTAR Medical as Head of Corporate and Scientific Communications.

Katherin Awad received their MBA with Distinction (Dean's list) from INSEAD in 2006, with a focus in Marketing and Strategy. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from UNSW in Business Information Technology, with High Distinction.
