Heikki Karppinen

Heikki Karppinen is an experienced project management professional with a career spanning over two decades in the IT sector. Currently serving as Group Manager and Head of PMO at Istekki Oy since November 2021, Karppinen previously held the role of Lead Project Manager at TietoEVRY and Tieto, emphasizing project portfolio financials and delivery quality. Earlier positions include Team Manager at Tieto, where responsibility extended to managing a geographically decentralized team, and Project Manager roles at various organizations, including Navicre, Satama Interactive Oyj, and Kesko, focusing on IT and e-business projects. Karppinen holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Oulu, completed in 1999.
