Petri Karhunen

Petri Karhunen serves as the Lead Network Specialist at Istekki Oy since December 2022, following a brief tenure as an Information Security Architect at Kela. With extensive experience at Istekki Oy from June 2012 to November 2022, Petri held various roles including Lead Network Specialist, Senior Network Specialist, Senior Security Specialist, and System Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as an Information Security Specialist with the Finnish Defence Forces and an ICT Specialist within the Finnish Air Force. Petri's early career involved several IT trainee positions at the City of Kuopio. Academic achievements include a Master of Engineering in Cyber Security from JAMK University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
