Pia Turunen

Pia Turunen is an experienced project manager with a diverse background in healthcare and project planning. Currently serving as Projektipäällikkö at Istekki Oy since May 2023, Pia has previously held similar roles at Pirkanmaan hyvinvointialue from October 2021 to May 2023 and at Tampereen kaupunki - City of Tampere from October 2010 to January 2023. During the tenure at Tampereen kaupunki, Pia also worked as Projektisuunnittelija, Terveydenhuollon järjestelmien sovellusasiantuntija, Hygieniahoitaja, and Potilasasiamies. Early career experience includes roles as a Sairaanhoitaja at Oulun kaupunki - City of Oulu and Suomen Punainen Risti, Veripalvelu. Pia is currently pursuing a Sairaanhoitaja YAMK degree in Digitaaliset terveyspalvelut ja terveyden edistäminen at Lapland University of Applied Sciences, expected to complete in April 2024.
