Tayfun Utaş, who completed his undergraduate education at Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1988, completed the MBA Turkish program at Istanbul University in 1994. Afterward, he completed his Master's program with the thesis on "Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in Lean Production and an Application" in the Department of Production Management, Faculty of Business Administration of Istanbul University, Okan University, Department of Business Administration, in the framework of the "Hybrid Job Characteristics Theory" of Blue Collar Employees. He completed his doctorate with the "Motivation" graduation thesis. Tayfun Utaş has realized projects on Toyota Production and Lean Production systems throughout his business life. He has led and implemented many projects on Production Composition Systems. He holds the "JIPM Instructor" certificate given by the JIPM Japan Institute Plant Maintenance on Total Productivity Management (TPM). After these studies, he received the "World TPM" award. Tayfun Utaş also attended Lean Manufacturing workshops and conferences at Toyota Company. He gave conferences and training on Lean Sigma applications, TPM, and Lean Production in MMO, ISO, and various companies. Tayfun Utaş has a Six Sigma Blackbird certificate and has managed many projects as a project champion for many projects since 2012. Tayfun Utaş, who started his career as a production manager in a private company in 1988, received language training in England in 1990-1991.
