Francesca Spada

Francesca Spada has served as a Medico oncologo con incarico di Alta Specializzazione per le Neoplasie Neuroendocrine at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia since August 2011, focusing on clinical and research activities related to neuroendocrine and upper gastrointestinal tumors, and is responsible for the quality of the neuroendocrine tumor board. Francesca Spada obtained the Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale for the role of Professore Universitario di II fascia in December 2023 and is currently the Coordinator of the AIOM guidelines for neuroendocrine tumors, as well as a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology NETs and Endocrine Tumors group since 2021. Education includes a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Università degli Studi di Cagliari and a postgraduate degree in Medical Oncology from Università degli Studi di Sassari, complemented by a Ph.D. in Experimental and Translational Medicine from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria. Additionally, Francesca Spada is an active member of AIOM, ENETS, NANETS, and ESMO.
