Darren Ong

Darren Ong is the current Head of Platform Growth at iSTOX. Prior to this, they were the Head of Platform Growth at ADDX from July 2019 to September 2021. Darren is also the founder of UBIQ, which they led from February 2018 to June 2019.

Darren began their career at Citi in October 2008 as part of the Wealth Management Equity and Treasury Products team. In this role, they were responsible for heading up the Asia Pacific Treasurers team. Darren then moved to ExxonMobil in January 2003, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst for the Asia Pacific region.

In addition to their corporate experience, Darren has also worked as a consultant for Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and WHISKAS.

Darren Ong has a MSc. in Chemical Engineering Practice from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Citi Wharton Client Relationship Program from The Wharton School, a MSc. in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering and International Minor in Engineering in French Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

They work with Inmoo Hwang - Executive Vice President, Darius Liu - COO, and Manuel Jaeger - Head of Product. Darren Ong reports to Danny Toe, CEO.
