Jim Gerkin

Jim Gerkin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jim began their career in 1998 as a Producer at Traders Insurance, where they worked until 2003. In the same year, they joined Pekin Insurance and served as the Sales Training Manager for 15 years, specializing in life insurance sales training. Jim then moved on to Pearl Insurance in 2018, where they worked as the General Manager of Agency Operations until 2019. After retiring as a Territory Sales Manager at Pekin Insurance from 2019 to 2021, they joined ISU Insurance Agency Network as the Vice President of Business Development. Additionally, Jim has also served as a Life Coach at James Gerkin Coaching since 2003 and as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor at ISU Motorcycle Safety Foundation from 2010 to 2016.

Jim Gerkin earned a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design from Ashford University, which they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Parkland College from 1977 to 1979 and studied Elt engineering tech and Business Admin. Jim completed their high school education at Vandalia High School from 1974 to 1977.
