Fabricio Costa

Vice-chair / Chair Of The Scientific Committee at ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Fabricio Costa currently serves as the Director and Clinical Lead for Women's Research in the Women-Newborn-Children Services at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, as well as a Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Griffith University. In addition, Fabricio holds various roles within the ISUOG, including Vice-Chair of the Scientific Committee and Ambassador to Latin America, while also being an Honorary Professor at The University of Queensland. Other contributions include membership in key committees such as the Obstetric Leadership Advisory Group for Queensland Health and the Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound Education and Monitoring Program Steering Committee for RANZCOG. Fabricio's previous experience includes positions as a consultant sonologist and visiting professor at the University of São Paulo, alongside advanced training in Obstetrical and Gynaecological Ultrasound. Fabricio's educational background includes degrees in Medicine and advanced studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from prestigious institutions in Brazil and Australia.
