Gaurav Narain

Gaurav Narain has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. GAURAV started their career as an Articled Assistant at KPMG India, where they gained expertise in audit, taxation, and management consultancy. GAURAV then joined Daewoo Motors India Limited as an Executive Accounts, handling financial reporting and finalizing annual accounts. Gaurav later worked at Allied Domecq Spirits & Wines (India) Pvt. Ltd. as a Manager of Finance & Accounts, where they were responsible for budgeting and monitoring financial performance. GAURAV then joined Apollo Tyres Ltd as the Divisional Head of Corporate Accounts, contributing to the company's global presence and turnover. In their role as Head of Finance at Apollo Tyres Middle East, Gaurav successfully improved operating profit margins, increased the company's cash position, and expanded the sales and distribution network. Currently, Gaurav serves as the Head of Finance at Isuzu Motors International FZE, providing leadership and strategic insights to the finance team, and overseeing the development of financial governance frameworks and operational efficiency.

Gaurav Narain has a diverse education background with a focus on commerce and finance. GAURAV obtained their Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1999 after completing their studies in commerce from Zakir Husain Delhi College, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their CBSE Class 12th from Delhi Public School - India, emphasizing science subjects.

In 2009, Gaurav Narain pursued further education at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they completed the Advanced Leadership Development Program in 2010. This program covered a wide range of subjects including finance, marketing, human resources, leadership, and operations management.

In addition to their degrees, Gaurav Narain also obtained the certification of Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in April 1999.
