Ruan van Tonder

Ruan van Tonder is an experienced IT professional specializing in SAP systems, currently serving as Senior SAP Systems Lead at Isuzu Motors South Africa since January 2018. Ruan's responsibilities encompass the technical operation and innovation of the SAP ERP landscape across South and East Africa, including the management of supporting applications, hardware, databases, and project execution. Prior to this role, Ruan worked at General Motors for a decade, holding various positions including SAP Technical Analyst and Application Operations Lead, where Ruan contributed to the innovation and operation of the GM Enterprise SAP landscape and managed IT Application operations across multiple African countries. Ruan's career began at Columbus Stainless as a programmer, following the completion of a B.Tech. in Information Technology from the University of Port Elizabeth.
