Charlene Govaere

Charlene Govaere has extensive experience in human resources and education, currently serving as Supervisor, HR Business Partner at Isuzu North America Corporation since February 2017. Charlene has been with Isuzu North America since June 2008, progressing through roles including Senior HR Business Partner and Senior HR and Administration Specialist. Prior to this, Charlene worked at ISUZU from August 1998 to June 2008 as an Engineering Administrator and Office Manager, overseeing administrative functions and supporting commercial vehicle production. In the education sector, Charlene taught literature and writing at Our Lady of the Lakes High School from August 1996 to August 1998 and served as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher at Op-NET English Institute from December 1993 to March 1996. Charlene holds a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with concentrations in English and biology from Eastern Michigan University.
