John Fairlie, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades.

John started their career as a Missile Technician in the US Navy, where they developed and implemented complex Strategic Missile Launch training programs.

Following their naval service, they worked at the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) as part of the NC2 Battle Staff Operations Team, fulfilling various roles such as Nuclear Strike Advisor, NPES System Administrator, Nuclear Planner, and Watch Officer Trainer.

During their time at NAOC, they accumulated over 600 flight hours and gained extensive expertise in Battle Staff Training Exercise (BSTE) scenarios for NPES.

After leaving NAOC, they joined Lockheed Martin as an NC2 Training Specialist, providing simultaneous training for separate battle staff functions and implementing new training and certification programs.

John later worked at Vet Defense as an Exercise Trainer and Developer, identifying training needs in areas such as Command and Control, Strategic Deterrence, Cyberspace Operations, and Intelligence.

Subsequently, they joined L-3 as a Joint Exercise Training Specialist, where they developed in-depth training exercises and collaborated with senior analysts and command-level officers to improve the training program.

John then transitioned to Concord Mediation Center, where they worked as a Mediator and Trainer, providing mediation services for civil matters and coaching mediation students.

Following their time at Concord Mediation Center, they joined Strategic Professional Resources, Inc., initially working as a Requirements Manager and then as a Business Development Manager.

In these roles, they were responsible for conducting market research, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, and overseeing proposal development.

Currently, John Fairlie is employed at ISYS Technologies, where they hold the position of Director and Business Unit Manager/Program Manager.

In their current role, they are responsible for administering multiple contracts and managing personnel across different locations.

John ensures contract and customer satisfaction by managing funding levels, personnel performance, and contract deliverables.

John Fairlie, PMP has a diverse education history. In 2009, they obtained a Bachelor's of General Studies in Political Science and Government from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. John continued their education by earning a Master's Certificate in Lean Enterprise Solutions from Villanova University in 2017. In 2013, John pursued a Master of Science in Negotiation Dispute Resolution (NDR) from Creighton University, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, they completed various DAU Courses and Continuing Learning Modules at Defense Acquisition University in 2012-2013. Alongside their formal education, John attended a certification program at Shipley Associates in 2015, specializing in "Positioning to Win" and "Capturing Federal Business." Notably, in 2021, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
