Matt Edwards

Matt Edwards has a strong background in test engineering, with over 20 years of experience in various industries. Matt is currently working at ISYS Technologies as a Test Engineer, a role they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Engineer at ISYS Technologies from April 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining ISYS Technologies, Matt was a Senior Test Engineer at Scientific Research Corporation from August 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they worked with the Astrodynamics Support Workstation (ASW) suite of software under the direction of the US Navy. In this role, they served as the Project Test Lead and Lead System Administrator for various GPS software applications. Matt worked closely with government agencies and contracting companies on software testing and scheduling.

From June 2007 to January 2013, Matt worked as a Level II Software Test Lead at Boeing Satellite Systems. Matt was responsible for testing software change requests for the GPS satellite systems and worked on various GPS government programs.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Quality Assurance Consultant to Verizon Business at COMSYS from October 2003 to June 2007. Matt also served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Novus Development for a brief period in 2003.

Prior to that, Matt gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Test Team Lead at WorldCom from October 1998 to December 2002. Matt managed full life cycle testing and coordinated efforts with interfacing company divisions.

Matt's career started in the United States Air Force, where they held multiple roles. From October 1995 to October 1997, they served as a Consolidated Operations Room Computer Operator, responsible for performing computer operations and coordinating problem resolution. From November 1991 to October 1995, Matt served as the Global Positioning Systems Space Systems Shift Supervisor, managing computer processors and peripherals within the Master Control Station of the Navstar Global Positioning System.

Overall, Matt Edwards has extensive experience in test engineering, working with various software suites and government programs. Matt has a strong background in virtual machine testing, web service testing, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Matt Edwards obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Colorado Christian University in 2011. In December 2019, they obtained a certification in Security+ CE from CompTIA. In July 2021, they also received a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc.
