Norman Fortier, CISM, CGEIT, PfMP, PgMP, PMP, ITIL4 has over 40 years of experience in the IT industry. From 1978 to 2000, they served as an AC130H Spectre Gunship Fire Control Technician in the United States Air Force. In 2000, they became a Sr. Internet Developer at Endicia, where they successfully coordinated the development and deployment of an internet-based, United States Postal Service (USPS) commercially approved electronic postage system. In 2001, they became a Sr. Program Manager at Conquest Systems, Inc., managing multiple CMM Level III projects and multiple teams at different client locations. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Sr. Program Manager at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, providing onsite program management for a multi-million dollar United States Postal Service (USPS) software development program. In 2007, they became an Associate Vice President at Catapult Technology, responsible for a business portfolio with an approximate contract value in excess of $30M of revenue at several civilian agencies. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Director of Intelligence Community at Global Defense Technology & Systems, Inc., responsible for a successful Federal Intelligence Community (IC) Agency $51Mil data warehouse operations & maintenance program. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Sr. Program Manager at iSystems Group, Inc., responsible for the establishment and day-to-day operations of a Federal Intelligence Community Agency/division level Project Management Office (PMO) with a annual portfolio value of $60Mil. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been the President/CEO of iSystems Group, Inc., providing Cybersecurity, IT Governance, IT Benefits realization, organizational leadership, cybersecurity, thought leadership, portfolio / program / project management and engineering services to civilian, DoD and Intelligence agencies.

Norman Fortier has an educational background in Computer Information Systems and Engineering/Architecture. Norman obtained a BS from Western New England University between 1982 and 1985 and an AA from Northwest Florida State College between 1980 and 1981. Norman also holds a number of certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in June 2022, ITIL 4 from ISACA in July 2021, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA in March 2021, Industrial Security for the Government Security Specialist Curriculum from Defense Security Service in September 2013, Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) from Project Management Institute in May 2016, Program Management Professional (PgMP) from Project Management Institute in September 2009, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in April 2004, and ITIL-F.
