J.E. utilizes his in-depth knowledge and experience to help businesses overcome challenges and reduce risk through the use of innovative IT solutions. As the former Chief Information Officer for Regal Entertainment Group, J.E. spent 13 years bolstering the brand's profitability, leading the company from earnings of $50 million to $2.5 billion. He helped to administer 19 acquisitions, at the time making Regal the largest theatre operator in the world. A key player in a joint venture, J. E. oversaw the creation and development of www.fandango.com. Fandango was later sold to Comcast in 2007 for $200 million. Beginning his career as a computer operator, software developer, and systems programmer, J.E. then moved into management and has worked for various organizations including the University of Tennessee. He understands the importance of aligning IT with business objectives and how to leverage IT to drive business value. For the past ten years, J.E. has focused his efforts on entrepreneurial start-ups, including working with professional golfer Phil Mickelson on a major venture. J. E. is also a U.S. Army veteran having served his country proudly and honorably from 1967-1969.
