Uday Fotedar has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. Uday started their career as an IT Executive at Grass Roots Research and Creation Private Limited, where they effectively managed system functionality and provided physical IT support to employees. Uday also played a role in creating the company's website and portals.
Uday then joined HCL Technologies as an IT System Analyst, where they managed network servers and components, resolved end-user problems, and provided support for various applications such as Citrix and Lotus Notes.
After that, Uday worked as a Summer Intern at Rohde & Schwarz, where they gained experience in configuring database servers, Cisco switches, and other hardware used in ATC Integration lab. Uday also conducted interoperability, performance, and functionality tests for voice communication systems.
Next, they served as an IP Security Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT, where they worked on creating topologies using cyber security software and assisted in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices.
Later, Uday joined Capgemini as an Associate Consultant, where they demonstrated skills in network connectivity, routing and switching, Microsoft technologies, remote access support, and network performance analysis.
Currently, they are working at IT BY DESIGN as a Senior System Administrator. In this role, they troubleshoot Office 365 user mailboxes, applies retention policies, and manages the Office 365 environment at a high level.
Overall, Uday Fotedar has a solid foundation in system administration, network management, cybersecurity, and IT support.
Uday Fotedar completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan, from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Uday has also acquired several additional certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Pearson VUE. More recently, in September 2020, Uday obtained two certifications: "Learning Networking" and "Learning the Packet Delivery Process," both from LinkedIn.
