James Morgan

Jim Morgan is IT Cadre’s Director of Program Management. In this role, Jim works closely with customers to develop technical solutions to business problems. He has over 29 years of experience in Information Technology and extensive senior management experience leading large and complex project implementations.

Jim’s career started with U.S General Accounting Office where he supported Congress by preparing audits, reports and testimony on the efficiency and effectiveness of various Federal Government programs. After GAO, Jim was a lead consultant to the Internal Revenue Service on a cash reconciliation and Financial System Implementation. Jim then transitioned to telecom where he worked for 13 years at MCI and Verizon as the Director of the Program Management Office. In this role, he led fast-paced, complex implementations to support residential, business and federal customers.

Jim earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and earned his MBA from Penn State University. He is also PMP certified.
