Tim Heaston

Tim Heaston is the current CFO & SVP at ITA Group. Prior to joining ITA Group, Tim was with McGladrey from November 2009 to August 2012 where they served as Manager, Tax Services. In this role, Tim was responsible for managing tax compliance services and implementing tax planning strategies for middle-market companies in the manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and professional service industries. Tim also served as the primary tax advisor to numerous high net worth individuals and business owners.

In addition to client service work, Tim was a leader both locally and regionally in developing and implementing standardized compliance practices and paperless business processes. Prior to McGladrey, Tim was with Drake University from August 2007 to May 2008 where they served as Adjunct Professor of Accounting and taught Principles of Accounting to classes of 40-50 students.

Outside of their professional career, Tim has been actively involved in the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition since January 2007, serving as Treasurer, Executive Committee Member, and Events and Festivals Chair. From June 2006 to October 2009, Tim was also with Denman & Company, LLP as In-Charge Accountant.

Heaston has a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration from Drake University.
