Michael van Bergen

Michael van Bergen has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Michael worked as VP of Sales at ITAB Group since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at ITAB Group from January 2019 to March 2022. Before joining ITAB Group, Michael was the Sales and Marketing Director at ITAB Benelux BV from December 2014 to March 2022. Michael also worked as a Branch Director at New Store Europe BV from January 2012 to November 2014. Earlier in their career, Michael held positions at Shopex - the Retail Engineers, including Customer Services Director from July 2011 to December 2011 and Sales/Marketing from January 2001 to June 2011.

Michael van Bergen has a diverse education history. Michael earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Economics from Avans University of Applied Sciences in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their VWO (pre-university education) at Titus Brandsmalyceum from 1991 to 1997. Michael also attended the International Language Center in 2009-2010 to enhance their business English skills. In 2012-2013, they participated in the Young Executives Program at de Baak, focusing on Leadership. Michael is currently pursuing Sales Management studies at Nyenrode Business University, expected to be completed by 2021.
