ITAC
Bruce Simms, PE has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Bruce began their career as a Structural Engineer at Butler Manufacturing in 1994 and worked there until 1997. Bruce then joined Avis Construction Company as a Pre-Engineered Metal Building Manager from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Alliance Engineering Inc. as a Structural Engineer. Bruce worked there until 1999 when they transitioned to Industrial TurnAround Corp. (ITAC) as a Director. At ITAC, they held various roles including Vice President - Specialty Services. In 2019, they returned to ITAC as the Vice President - Specialty Services. Bruce also has experience in ITAC Fall Protection Services as a Director.
Bruce Simms, PE graduated from Virginia Tech in 1993 with a degree in Civil Engineering, focusing on Structural. Prior to that, they attended Douglas S. Freeman High School from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their education, Bruce has obtained certifications from Procore Technologies, including Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) and Procore Certified: Student, both in 2021.
