Camilo Galvis

Camilo Galvis, CIMA®, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in private banking and investment consulting. Currently serving as a Private Banker at Itaú USA since February 2018, Camilo is responsible for developing strategies for client portfolios, focusing on Brazilian and Spanish-speaking clients, and managing the bank's balance sheet and liquidity. Camilo has a strong background in trading, having designed risk control tools and optimized trading activities at the Trading Desk. Previous roles include Investment Consultant in real estate at Galvis Gonzalez S.C.S and Senior Derivatives Trader at Helm Bank, where strategies were implemented to minimize risk and enhance fund growth. Camilo holds several advanced degrees, including a degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of International Business from Florida International University, and a Master’s in Finance from Universidad de Los Andes.
