Andrea Piccatto

Performance Engineer at Italdesign

Andrea Piccatto started their work experience in 2010 with an internship at BRC Gas Equipment. In 2017, they joined Italdesign as an intern in the Motorcooling, HVAC, and Aerodynamics department. They later became a Performance Engineer, focusing on Engine Cooling and HVAC systems. In 2018 and 2019, Andrea held the position of Performance Engineer in the same field. From 2019 to present, they have worked as a Performance Engineer at Italdesign, primarily working on engine cooling and refrigerant cycle performance. They were also involved in the Easyrain project as the Hydraulic System Responsible, where they supported the design and testing of an innovative active aquaplaning reduction system. Their responsibilities included tasks such as supplier management, logistics, packaging integration, and analysis of test reports.

Andrea Piccatto's education history began in 2006 at Liceo Scientifico L. Cocito, where they pursued Indirizzo Tecnologico. They then attended Politecnico di Torino from 2011 to 2015, earning a degree in Ingegneria dell'Autoveicolo, specializing in Automotive Engineering. In 2015, Andrea continued their education at Politecnico di Torino, this time focusing on Vehicle System Development in the field of Automotive Engineering.

From 2016 to 2017, Andrea worked as a Researcher for their Master Degree's Thesis at Oakland University's FAJRI - Fastening and Joining Research Institute, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, in September 2014, Andrea obtained an IELTS Academic 7.5 certification from the British Council.
