Francesca Di Nicola has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Francesca started their career in 2011 at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held various roles in Powertrain Engineering. Francesca'sresponsibilities included conducting fuel economy and emissions simulations, implementing regulatory test procedures, and conducting CAE validation and optimization of engine components. Francesca also played a role in evaluating testing facilities suppliers and commissioning testing equipment. In 2018, Francesca joined Italdesign as a Project Application Coordinator in Powertrain Development Engineering, where they were responsible for planning and coordinating engine application projects for both new developments and series production programs. In 2019, they were promoted to Project Application Team Leader, and in 2020, they became a Project Manager.

Francesca Di Nicola has a diverse educational background. Francesca obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from MIP Politecnico di Milano, completing their studies between 2020 and 2022.

Prior to their MBA, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
