Marco Volpengo has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Marco started their career in 1986 at Fiat Auto as a Manufacturing Engineer. From 1990 to 1994, they worked at ICOM SrL as a Production Planning Manager. Marco then moved to UTS SpA and held various roles, including R&D Project Manager, R&D Manager, and Customer Account Manager. In 2002, they joined COMAU SpA as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager and later took on roles such as Germany Business Recovery Manager and Program Manager. From 2007 to 2008, they worked at COMAU SpA as Russia Business Development and Project Director. At Elasis, they served as Trenitalia Business Manager and CNH Business Manager. Marco joined Italdesign in 2009 as a Project Management Director and has since held positions such as China Development Division Manager, Division Manager for the Chinese and Russian markets, Head of China and Russia Automotive Business Development, and currently, Senior Automotive Business Development Manager.
Marco Volpengo has a diverse education history. From 1980 to 1984, they attended ITIS Majorana but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field. Later on, from 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at SAA - Business School. Following this, they continued their education at the Università degli Studi di Torino from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Doctorate degree in Economics. To further enhance their knowledge and skillset, Marco attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a Summer Session in 1999, focusing on Project Management.
