Lorenzo Romeo

Lorenzo Romeo is an experienced professional currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Italgas since April 2021. Additionally, Lorenzo holds board member positions at Nepta Acqua and Bludigit, both starting in October 2023 and July 2021 respectively. Prior experience includes a tenure at McKinsey & Company from February 2015 to March 2021, where Lorenzo advanced through roles such as Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, Jr Engagement Manager, and Associate. Lorenzo's academic background includes a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Scuola Normale Superiore and a Master's degree from Università di Pisa, alongside significant research on THz detectors based on semiconductor nanowires. As a board member, Lorenzo has focused on housing solutions, internationalization strategies, and academic planning.
