Tahir Iqbal

Tahir Iqbal has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tahir began their career as a Shift Engineer at Suraj Fertilizer Industries Ltd in Sahiwal in 2009, where they oversaw the production and maintenance of the Sulphuric Acid, Single Super Phosphate, and Granular Single Super Phosphate Plants. Tahir then worked as a Process Engineer at Faruki Pulp Mills Ltd in Gujrat from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, Tahir joined Mellitah Oil & Gas BV in Libya as a Shift Engineer, where they gained knowledge and experience in handling various systems such as Sulfur recovery unit, Sulfur Solidification Plant, MSF Desalination, Cooling towers, and associated utilities systems. Tahir was also responsible for coordinating normal shift activities.

In 2015, Tahir became an Operations Engineer at the Federal Electricity & Water Authority in the UAE, where they worked until 2018.

Since 2018, Tahir has been working at Italmatch Chemicals, initially as a Desalination Engineer in the MENA region and currently as a Regional Technical Development Manager.

Tahir Iqbal received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Tahir attended the university from 2005 to 2009.
