Felipe Simoes Lage Gomes Duarte has extensive experience in data science and engineering, currently serving as Superintendente de Dados & IA at Itaú Unibanco since December 2021, overseeing disciplines related to Data Engineering and Data Science. Prior roles include Superintendente de Dados & IA in various capacities at Santander Brasil and a Data Science Manager at BTG Pactual. Felipe began a career in academia as a professor in Machine Learning and Big Data and has held positions at institutions such as FIA and Fatece. An alumnus of USP - Universidade de São Paulo, Felipe earned a Bachelor's in Computer Science, a Master's in Data Visualization, and is a Doctor of Philosophy student focused on Machine Learning.
