Vicente holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1985), and in Petroleum Engineering (1986), from Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. as well as a Master in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Finance (1997), from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
