Miguel Aguirre

Miguel Aguirre has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Miguel began their career in 1995 as an Engineer of Projects at Pecom-NEC and later joined Invensys, where they worked as an Engineer of Projects until 1999. In 2000, they became a partner and managing director at IV Control S.R.L. Additionally, Miguel worked at ITBA as a Professor from 1995 until 2022, during which they also served as the Director of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 2013 to 2022. Miguel also worked as a Technical Manager at Teatro Travesía since 2001. Currently, Miguel holds the position of Director of the Electronic Engineering Career at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires starting from 2021.

Miguel Aguirre completed their education in a chronological manner. Miguel first attended the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained an Ingeniero degree in Electronics. Following this, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institute, graduating in 1995. Subsequently, Miguel Aguirre enrolled at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Power Electronics from 2007 to 2013.
