Alex Rass

Alex Rass has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Alex began their career in 1999 as a Senior Systems Specialist and Team Lead at Prudential Financial, where they worked on an AI project to reduce a 400+ annuities rule book to a few dozen required questions. In 2001, they moved to Educational Testing Service (ETS) as a Senior Java Consultant. In 2004, they joined Bloomberg LP as a Tech Lead and Senior Architect, where they worked on an AI project to extract corporate numbers from all 401k worldwide, as well as built a search appliance for corporate filings. In 2011, they were a Senior Java Consultant at Goldman Sachs for a 6-month project. From 2013 to 2014, they were the CIO at Quantum 3 Media. In 2014, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Waldo Lofts Association. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Co-founder of MoneyToken. In 2019, they became the Chief Information Officer at Gebo Group LLC, where they developed a HFT black box for crypto markets, as well as a client portfolio management platform with risk, ticker plant, FIX and ACH support. In 2020, they joined Morgan Stanley as a Consultant in Institutional Securities Tech. Alex is also the CEO of Informed Technology Business Solutions LLC since 2006.

Alex Rass has a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
